ASTM A192 (ASME SA-192) covers seamless carbon steel boiler and superheater tubes for high-pressure service, from ½ to 7 in (12.7 to 177.8 mm) outside diameter, ordered by minimum wall thickness. Tubes are tested for flattening, flaring and hardness (max. 77 HRB), and by a hydrostatic or non-destructive electric test.
