PSL2 adds mandatory Charpy impact tests, tighter chemistry and maximum strength limits. Pipe is supplied to order from mills in China, with mill test certificates to EN 10204 3.1.

Documents
Mill test certificate to EN 10204 3.1, naming the producing mill and the country of origin. Third-party inspection by an agency you nominate, or EN 10204 3.2, on request.
Packing and marking
Hexagonal bundles with steel straps, plastic end caps, a bundle tag (standard, size, heat number, pieces, weight) and stencil marking on each pipe.

PSL1 or PSL2?
PSL1 is the basic level. PSL2 adds mandatory Charpy impact testing, carbon-equivalent limits, maximum yield and tensile strength, and full-body non-destructive testing of seamless pipe. Pipe for sour service (H₂S) must be PSL2 with Annex H, with HIC and SSC tests.
API Monogram
Only mills licensed by API may apply the API Monogram. If your specification requires it, say so in your enquiry.
