ASTM A53 covers welded and seamless steel pipe; Type S is the seamless type. Grade B is the usual grade for pressure and mechanical uses such as water, steam, air and gas lines. Ends can be plain, bevelled, or threaded and coupled. Sizes follow ASME B36.10M, and pipe is supplied to order with EN 10204 3.1 mill certificates.

Documents
Mill test certificate to EN 10204 3.1, naming the producing mill and the country of origin. Third-party inspection by an agency you nominate, or EN 10204 3.2, on request.
Packing and marking
Hexagonal bundles with steel straps, plastic end caps, a bundle tag (standard, size, heat number, pieces, weight) and stencil marking on each pipe.
