Seamless carbon steel pipe · Tehran, Iran

In the trade, the “brand” of a seamless pipe is the mill that made it. Iran has a handful of seamless mills. Their ranges differ: some start at ½ inch, others at 2 or 2½ inch, and one makes 6 to 16 inch, mostly casing and tubing for oil wells.

The figures below come from each mill’s own website or catalogue, read in October 2026. Capacity is the design capacity of the line, not the output of a given year. We list the mills alphabetically; this is not a ranking.

What to ask for with every shipment: the mill certificate (EN 10204 3.1) with the heat number, matching the stencil on each pipe. For critical service you can add third-party inspection by an agency you choose.

Other Iranian pipe mills (welded pipe)

These companies make welded pipe, not seamless pipe. Some of it is sold in the market as "Mannesmann"; the stencil and the mill certificate show the difference.

Which Iranian mill is the best?

We don't rank mills. The right mill for an order is the one whose declared range covers your size, wall and grade, and which issues a mill certificate with the heat number for your shipment.

How do I know which mill made my pipe?

Read the stencil on the pipe and the mill certificate (EN 10204 3.1). Both name the mill, standard, grade, size and heat number, and the heat numbers must match. If we offer pipe from a different mill than agreed, we confirm it in writing before shipping.

Do you supply sizes outside these ranges?

Yes. Sizes no Iranian mill makes, or makes in your grade, are supplied from Chinese mills to the same standards. The offer states the mill and country of origin.
